2024 Simulation Innovation Workshop (SIW)

The Simulation Innovation Workshop (SIW) serves as the annual gathering of the SISO Community.

The 2024 SIW will consist of four days of workshop activities, including:

• 25-30 Papers/Presentations over three topical tracks
  
• Approximately 10 Tutorials on a wide range of subjects
• General Sessions featuring:
  
  • Briefings from SISO, OUSD R&E (DEM&S), and the NATO Modelling & Simulation Group (NMSG)
  • Speakers from the U.S. and Allied Military Services, Industry and Academia
  • Sessions on specific topics like LVC, Digital Engineering, M&S in Acquisition, Cyber, C2SIM and more
• Exhibits area with product demonstrations
• Numerous Working Group meetings (PDGs, PSGs and Study Groups)
• Networking Reception

Workshop: Digital Engineering and M&S

One of the featured events of the 2024 SIW is a special Workshop on Digital Engineering and M&S, to be held the morning of Tuesday 27 February.  

The Workshop will be kicked off with Opening Remarks from Mr. Daniel Hettema, Director of Digital Engineering, Modeling and Simulation (DEM&S), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering.

For Authors and Presenters: Guidelines, Templates and Clearance Forms

Please see below the Paper and Presentation Templates, as well as Guidelines for Authors and Clearance/Release Forms.  One clearance/release form is required for each paper or presentation.  (It is not necessary for each author to submit a separate form.)  Papers must be submitted in the prescribed format, but you are not required to use the SISO template for your presentation.
