2025 Simulation Innovation Workshop (SIW)

The Simulation Innovation Workshop (SIW) serves as the annual gathering of the SISO Community.
Some highlights of the upcoming SIW include: - Multiple tracks of (approximately 40) presentations covering a wide variety of M&S topics
- An expanded slate of Tutorials covering HLA, DIS, VV&A, TENA and JMETC: Interoperability for Testing and Training, and other topics.
- A special session on Artificial Intelligence and M&S
- A special session on Standards in Medical Simulation
- A three-part NATO technical course on “M&S Standards for NATO Federated Mission Networking”
- Updates on important activities and developments in SISO and the NATO Modelling & Simulation Group (NMSG)
- A full roster of SISO Study Group, Product Development Group, and Product Support Group meetings
- Opening night reception and daily networking & refreshment breaks
SIW Schedule and Presentation Schedule
See above.. Monday, February 10 Please note that Monday, February 10 will consist of Tutorials in the morning, followed by the Sponsor's Lunch (invitation only). The Opening Plenary Session will be held from 1330-1500, followed by a block of Presentation sessions, and then the SIW Social at 5 pm. Friday, February 14 Please note that the "hands-on" portion of the NATO MSG-211 M&S Standards for NATO Federated Mission Networking course is scheduled for the morning (0730-1230) of Friday 14 February. - As of now, this is the only event scheduled on Friday.
- The first part of this course is scheduled for the morning of Monday, Feb 10. The second part will take place on the morning of Thursday, Feb 13.

Hotel Reservations
January 29 was the deadline for booking rooms in the SIW room block. The SIW Room Block is closed. You may still be able to book rooms via the hotel website at https://www.thefloridahotelorlando.com, but the hotel is very full and may be sold out for certain nights. There may not be anything I can do, but please feel free to e-mail me at prowe@sisostandards.org if you were still hoping to book a room at the Florida Hotel.
