You must join SISO as either a Member ($95 per year) or a Guest Member (Free) in order to join any Communities (Study Groups, Product Development Groups, Product Support Groups, or Committees).

SISO Membership is only $95 per year, and provides a wide range of benefits:

• Only SISO Members can be active, voting members of Product Development Groups and/or Product Support Groups.
• Only SISO Members can join Ballot Groups
• Only SISO Members can hold leadership positions within SISO
• Only SISO Members can vote in SISO Elections
• Only SISO Members receive free access to the IEEE standards maintained by SISO
  

Guest Membership is Free

Guest Members have access to all unrestricted areas of the SISO website, and will be able to view the full list of SISO Communities (Working Groups).  Guest Members can "Request to Join" PDGs and PSGs, but are not eligible to be active, voting members of a PDG or PSG.  Guest Members cannot vote, hold leadership positions or join Ballot Groups.
