2026 Simulation Innovation Workshop (SIW)
February 9-12, 2026

Orlando, FL The Simulation Innovation Workshop (SIW) serves as the annual gathering of the SISO Community. The 2026 SIW will consist of four days of workshop activities, including: - Multiple tracks of presentations covering a wide variety of M&S topics
- A full slate of Tutorials covering HLA, DIS, Cyber, C2SIM, Space FOM, VV&A and other topics.
- General Sessions featuring:
- Briefings on important activities and developments in SISO and the NATO Modelling & Simulation Group (NMSG)
- Guest speakers from the U.S. and Allied Military Services, Industry and Academia
- Sessions on specific topics such as AI, Digital Engineering, Cyber, and Healthcare Simulation
- A full roster of SISO Study Group, Product Development Group, and Product Support Group meetings
- Exhibits area with product demonstrations
- Opening night reception and daily networking & refreshment breaks
Agenda / Program
A list of accepted Abstracts and confirmed speakers will be posted in December. The draft Agenda will be posted in late December or early January.

Abstract Submission
SISO will continue to accept Abstracts through 15 December 2025. Please use the link below to upload your abstracts. You will subsequently use this same link to upload your presentations, papers and clearance/release forms. 2026 SIW Presentation and Paper Submission
Registration
Online registration for the 2026 SIW is open. Click on the Register button at the top of the page to register. The Early Registration deadline is January 2. ***Sponsors / Retirees / Students***

Registration Fees and deadlines for the 2026 SIW:
Early registration: Now through 2 January
Regular registration: 3 January to 31 January
Late registration: On or after 1 February
- Standard: Early: $745 / Regular: $795 / Late: $845
- Sponsor: Early: $675 / Regular: $725 / Late: $775
- Retiree: $375

For Authors and Presenters
Clearance Forms, Templates and Guidelines
Please see below the Paper and Presentation Templates, as well as Guidelines for Authors and Clearance/Release Forms. One clearance/release form is required for each paper or presentation. (It is not necessary for each author to submit a separate form.)
Papers must be submitted in the prescribed format, but you are not required to use the SISO template for your presentation.
